Fast Interference Monitoring of LTE Uplink Spectrum

The MU100040B CPRI RF module enables the display of the LTE spectrum of both downlink and uplink signals on a cell site IQ data using CPRI technology between the Baseband Unit (BBU) and Remote Radio Head (RRH). A fast trace update rate ensures that even intermittent interferers are seen, and the use of Max Hold and Min Hold traces captures these events for simplified detection. When an interferer has been identified, it is possible to center this signal and zoom into it for more detailed analysis, further facilitating the identification of the source.

The spectrogram maintains a history of all traces over an extended time period for long term monitoring.

The BBU Emulation option provides customer the necessary tools to validate that a newly installed ALu / Nokia RRH is installed properly and functional, before the BBU is commissioned on site.
